A huge thank you to those who took part in Save a Life September 2025! Diolch o galon!

More than 3,500 people learned vital new skills with our St John People during the month of September, from attending a free demonstration with one of our Community Trainers in schools and community groups, to completing a full first aid course with one of our Workplace Trainers. More than half of the total learned new skills with our dedicated volunteers, either as part of open sessions at one of our local divisions, or at public events.

Every person who gained new skills during the campaign has helped us one step closer to realising our vision of Wales as a community of lifesavers. You can help us continue this work by donating to us today.

We run this campaign because of people like Chris...

When Chris (pictured on the right) lined up at the start of the Porthcawl 10K earlier this summer, he felt confident. An experienced runner, he’d trained well, eaten properly, and prepared like he always had. But what he didn’t expect was that he would collapse just metres from the finish line, and that his life would be saved thanks to the quick actions of St John Ambulance Cymru volunteers.

Find out more about his story and how the quick actions of St John People saved his life.
