Learn lifesaving skills this September
First aid saves lives, and this campaign is all about equipping people with the simple skills that could be the difference between life and death.
We want people who are willing to feel able to help in the event of an incident such as a cardiac arrest, as early intervention increases the likelihood of survival and buys precious time for further help to arrive.
As well as offering full workplace training courses and online e-learning courses, our dedicated St John People will be holding a series of free in-person sessions around the country. See the table below to find an event near you - more events will be added throughout the month.

We run this campaign because of people like Chris...
When Chris (pictured on the right) lined up at the start of the Porthcawl 10K earlier this summer, he felt confident. An experienced runner, he’d trained well, eaten properly, and prepared like he always had. But what he didn’t expect was that he would collapse just metres from the finish line, and that his life would be saved thanks to the quick actions of St John Ambulance Cymru volunteers.
