Casual Event Paramedic

As an Event Paramedic you will be part of the patient facing medical provision at operational events covered by St John Ambulance Cymru. You will often be the initial healthcare professional to attend patients in the pre-hospital setting, usually working on an ambulance or rapid response vehicle. You will be expected to work autonomously where appropriate and often alongside a wider multidisciplinary team.

Volunteering is at the core of the charity and at most events you will be assisted by St John Ambulance Cymru volunteers. You will be required to provide effective clinical leadership, development, and mentorship to other personnel.

Hours will be ad hoc and salary dependent on skill level.
