Chair of Powys Council

We're seeking committed and respected leaders to volunteer as Chairs of Council. We are looking to appoint two Chairs: one for the St John County of Powys and one for Dyfed.

This influential role involves leading the Council to enhance the presence, visibility and services of St John Ambulance Cymru within the County, while representing the Order of St John in an ambassadorial capacity.

As Chair, you will play a key part in shaping local priorities, supporting effective fundraising for key projects, strengthening relationships across communities and partners, and ensuring the Council operates in line with our Statutes, Regulations and charitable responsibilities.

With a commitment of around 16 hours per month, this is a rewarding opportunity to use your experience to make a meaningful and lasting contribution to an inclusive organisation dedicated to compassion, quality, integrity and community impact.

This role is voluntary and unpaid but appropriate expenses will be met.

The potential time commitment is a minimum of 16 hours per month.
