About our Safeguarding Group B course
This Safeguarding Group B course is designed to build confidence and competence in safeguarding practice. Delegates will gain the knowledge and skills needed to recognise concerns, respond appropriately, and take effective action to protect children and adults at risk.
You will understand relevant legislation and policies, identify factors that may contribute to abuse, harm or neglect, and know how and when to report concerns, and who to report them to.
This course consists of 2-3 hours digital pre-course reading, and a knowledge check, followed by a face to face training day. The in-person training day expands on the content learned in the pre-course reading and knowledge check and will build your confidence in safeguarding issues.
