When it comes to selecting a mental health awareness course online, St John Ambulance Cymru is the leading training provider in Wales. In the UK, St John Ambulance is one of the voluntary aid societies (VAS) who are recognised by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) as standard setters for first aid training in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981. We don't require external accreditation through an Awarding Organisation.

This mental health awareness online course is taught 100% virtually. This means you can learn about mental health at work from the comfort of your home or place of work. We recommend the use of a laptop. A mobile phone is not suitable for this training. Delegates are advised to log on 15 minutes early. This allows for any technical issues, and to ensure that the course starts on time. We do offer this training in person should you prefer.

To be a mental health first aider, you will need to take our Mental Health First Aid course. Although we do not offer this mental health first aid course online, we do offer it as part-virtual training. It is split over a series of interactive eLearning modules and 2 live, virtual training sessions. These will be done with a St John Ambulance Cymru trainer.

Taking mental health awareness training as an online course may be beneficial for several reasons. For example, if you cannot reach one of our training centres, then you can still enjoy gold-standard training from one of our highly trained St John Ambulance Cymru instructors. As long as you have a stable internet connection, then you can join the course. Not only this, but it as it is a live course with a real instructor, if you have any questions then you can ask them and receive an answer in real time. This is much more preferable than offerings from other competitors where this isn't a functionality.

We frequently hold our mental health awareness online course via live training. Get in touch with us by phone or email to inquire with one of our Commercial Training agents. We can provide bespoke training for larger groups.
