Fundraise for St John Ambulance Cymru at your school

Whether you’re holding a non-uniform day, a bake sale, or getting involved with the staffroom sweepstake, there are lots of fun and simple ways that your school can raise funds for St John Ambulance Cymru.

We know every school is unique, so our fundraising team are on hand to work with you to help you plan fundraising activities which suit your school environment.

Could your pupils ‘Be All It Takes’?

You don’t have to wear a uniform to save a life! So, St John Ambulance Cymru want pupils across Wales to understand that with the right information, skills and confidence they could help save a life. We’re appealing to schools to hold a non-uniform day to raise money for us and awareness that your pupils can ‘Be All It Takes’. Sign up today and help us continue to be there for communities across Wales.

First aid for Schools

St John Ambulance Cymru provide training in schools across Wales, giving children the confidence and knowledge they need to save a life. There are two ways your pupils can learn with us, for free:

  1. Our trainers can visit your school to provide First Aid Awareness or Public Access Defib Awareness sessions. We will visit you to provide a 2 hour session or we can run a demonstration for a larger group during a school assembly.
  2. Join our Young Lifesavers Award Scheme and receive teaching resources and information about first aid and its place in the curriculum, so you can deliver sessions to your pupils yourself. It's easy to register and download materials.
