Our strategic objectives for 2025-30 are:
For the St John Experience we will:
- Make working and volunteering at St John Ambulance Cymru a sector leading experience.
- Ensure our people have the very best opportunities, training, equipment and leadership.
- Provide the highest quality services.
- Recruit 1,000 more active volunteers.
With a focus on community education, we will:
- Seize every opportunity to teach vital skills in first aid, baby and child safety, falls, CPR and community defibrillation.
- Teach lifesaving skills through demonstrations at community events, alongside providing first aid medical cover.
Our objectives for our children and young people are to:
- Equip every young person with essential life skills and helping those pursuing careers in health and social care to thrive now and in the future.
- Develop an NHS Wales Cadet scheme.
For inclusivity and sustainability we will:
- Ensure everyone is welcome at St John.
- Reduce our carbon footprint.
- Continue our role in society as a working order of chivalry.
