We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Benjamin Savage as our new Chief Operating Officer, effective from June 2021.

Benjamin joins us having previously held the role of Head of Planning and Programmes for Event Planning at St John Ambulance in England.

The role, which is a new position within our senior management team, will see the new Chief Operating Officer managing the development and delivery of services within our newly integrated operational department, incorporating healthcare, training, and community services, as well as our volunteer activity.

Having led and implemented major improvement programmes in his previous role, and working and volunteering on the front line across the pandemic, Benjamin’s passion for patient care and enhancing community services is prominent throughout his career.

“Following a highly competitive selection process, we’re pleased to welcome Ben to St John Ambulance Cymru.

We’re looking forward to working with him and for him to bring his experience, passion and vision to the development of our modernisation and operational strategic directions."
