Our Christmas spirit brightened by nextbike!

We are delighted to announce nextbike will be supporting us throughout December as a part of their Cardiff bike share scheme, after we won a public vote to be part of nextbike’s festive cash giveaway!

nextbike is offering a discounted £10 monthly subscription to anyone who signs up to the scheme in the month of December, a great deal for anyone living in Cardiff.

And because the festive season is the time for giving, nextbike will also be donating an amazing £5 to us from every subscription purchased as part of the nextbike For Charity campaign!

nextbike will be promoting a special discount code across their social media channels which will allow people to choose us as their preferred charity to donate £5 to.

nextbike recently asked members of the public to nominate the charity they would like to see receive the cash and thanks to incredible support from the public, we were amongst four UK charities to receive the most nominations!

With this, we will receive a cash donation in the New Year as well. So thank you!

To use this feature and to support us all you have do is use the code ‘345934’ when signing up for your subscription.

Every subscription will go a long way and help us to continue to be there for communities across Wales across the festive season.

“We were so shocked by the news we have been chosen by the public to be one of the charities who will benefit from this nextbike initiative. We cannot thank those who voted for us enough. The money raised will help St John Cymru give vital first aid treatment and training to more people, right at the heart of welsh communities.”
St John Cymru Appeal Manager, Samantha Coles

“Our nextbike For Charity campaign has become an annual fixture in the calendar – our customers have helped us raise more than £3,000 over the last couple of years and we’re thrilled to be supporting such a great charity in St John’s Cymru.

We’re passionate about making a positive difference to the communities within which we operate, and this is just another way of doing it in Cardiff.”
nextbike Managing Director, Krysia Solheim

Other charities who will share the cash are Stirling’s Recyke a Bike, Bike for Good, Glasgow, and domestic abuse charity Pathway.
