Studying basic first aid is essential for everyone, as it equips individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide immediate assistance in an emergency situation. A basic first aid course covers fundamental techniques that can make a significant difference in the outcome of an injury or illness. Whether at home, work, or in public spaces, accidents and medical emergencies can happen unexpectedly. Knowing how to respond promptly and appropriately can save lives and prevent further harm.

Delegates who take this short course have the first aid skills to offer immediate assistance in an emergency situation. However, if you want to be qualified first aider for your workplace, then there is only one first aid training course you can take. This is the first aid at work course, which is a level 3 award. Only someone who has this work qualification can be a workplace first aider. We also offer emergency first aid at work training which is a level 2 award. Call us to discuss whether or not you need to a fully qualified first aider at work.
