This event is hosted by the St John Council for Cardiff and the Vale Council for St John Ambulance Cymru.

The guest speaker will be Mr Gareth Thomas and the Talk is entitled ‘Tryweryn: the drowning of a village and the birth of a symbol' and discusses how the Afon Tryweryn Valley was flooded and drowned in 1965 to create a reservoir, now known as Llyn Celyn, in order to supply Liverpool with water for Industry.
