Why Esther is running for #TeamSJAC

St John Ambulance Cymru volunteer in our Gower Division, Esther, is running for us in this year's Swansea Half Marathon. When asked why she wanted to lace up her running shoes and run for us, she said:

"In June, I'll be lacing up my running shoes and preparing to tackle the Swansea Half Marathon, all in the name of supporting St John Ambulance Cymru. The decision to push myself out of my comfort zone and take up this challenge is driven by my deep respect for St John Ambulance Cymru, an exceptional organisation that is always there when people need them the most.

The thought of contributing to raising funds to ensure that St John Ambulance Cymru can continue to provide life-saving services in the years to come warms the soul. It gives me a sense of purpose and motivates me to train harder for the marathon. I'll see you all at the finish line 😀"
