New safeguarding training launched by St John Ambulance Cymru

We have recently launched a new Safeguarding Group B course!

The course is designed for anyone who has regular contact with adults, children, or members of the public.

It aims to help delegates gain the knowledge and confidence to recognise and respond to safeguarding concerns. It combines online pre-course learning with a face-to-face training day. On successful completion, delegates will receive a Safeguarding Group B certificate.

Safeguarding is crucial in the UK, as it protects vulnerable individuals from abuse, harm and neglect. It is becoming increasingly complex, due to rising numbers of reported concerns, evolving forms of risk and increased pressure on professionals. This has led us to introduce this new course.

This addition to our training portfolio is particularly exciting as it expands our courses beyond first aid, mental health, and health and safety training to include safeguarding for the first time.

Kerrie, who will be the Safeguarding Group B course trainer, commented:

We are pleased and excited to be able to offer our new Group B Safeguarding course.

Here at St John Ambulance Cymru, we are passionate about creating a safe space to explore and discuss safeguarding so that people can feel confident and empowered to fulfil their safeguarding responsibility.

Further information about the course can be found on the mental health courses section of our website.

Alternatively, you can call our sales team on 0300 201 1999 or email us.
