Save a Life September returns for 2020

Each year our Save a Life September campaign provides people across Wales with free first aid training.

Last year’s event was an enormous success, with over 9,500 people taught vital skills they could use to save someone’s life.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, things are going to be a little different in 2020.

We’re still going to be there for our communities by providing free first aid awareness sessions at locations around the country, but we’ve introduced measures including reduced class sizes and social distancing to make sure we're keeping everyone safe.

Our two-hour sessions will take place at our training centres in Llanelli, Abergele, Swansea and Cardiff throughout September.

Some of the lifesaving skills being taught include:

• How to manage an incident

• Choking

• Bleeding

• Resuscitation (CPR)

• Treating an unresponsive casualty

Registration is now open for our free 2020 classes. To see what’s available and to book, head to training.stjohnwales.org.uk/course/search/ or call 0345 678 5646.
