Interested in volunteering at university?

We know you'll want to make a real difference when you volunteer but it's not just about what you can do for others. Volunteers get a lot out of the experience too. Volunteering can help you make friends, improve your confidence, learn new skills and enhance your CV, which compliments your university studies perfectly.

What is Links?

Our Links groups are student societies run by students and designed to fit around studying and other commitments. We have Links at Aberystwyth, Bangor, Cardiff, Cardiff Metropolitan and Swansea universities as well as over one hundred local divisions across Wales.

Already a member?

If you're already a member of St John Ambulance Cymru or St John Ambulance in England, it's easy to transfer to your nearest Links group. Contact us and select 'volunteering' as your reason for getting in touch, or give us a call on 029 2044 9639.

Looking for other ways to get involved?

Whatever you enjoy doing and however much time you can commit, there’s a volunteer role for you.
