IOSH Managing Safely Refresher Course

About our IOSH Managing Safely Refresher Course

This 1-day IOSH Managing Safely Refresher course refreshes and builds on knowledge that delegates gained during their original IOSH Managing Safely training. After the course, delegates will be once again fully confident in implementing health and safety policies and keeping employees safe.

You cannot join this refresher course unless you have previously completed the IOSH Managing Safely training course.

Please note that you will need to bring your original certificate as proof of completion. If you don't, then you may unfortunately be unable to join and be assessed. We ask that you let us know in advance if there are any difficulties in providing the certification.

St John Ambulance Cymru is a trusted and leading training provider in Wales. In the UK, St John Ambulance is one of the voluntary aid societies (VAS) who are recognised by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) as standard setters for first aid training in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981. We don't require external accreditation through an awarding organisation.

Managers and supervisors have a responsibility to ensure employees can work in a safe and healthy environment. The IOSH Managing Safely course teaches essential health and safety knowledge and skills. This refresher course helps update and reinforce that knowledge, ensuring managers continue to apply best practice and maintain a safe and productive workplace.

Although IOSH certificates do not expire, you are strongly recommended to take an IOSH refresher. Skills and knowledge fade over time. IOSH recommends that you should take a Managing Safely Refresher course no later than 3 years after completing your original training.
