IOSH Managing Safely Refresher

About our IOSH Managing Safely Refresher Course

This 1-day IOSH managing safely refresher course refreshes and builds on knowledge that delegates gained during their original IOSH Managing Safely training. After the course, delegates will be once again fully confident in implementing H&S policies and keeping employees safe.

You cannot join this refresher course unless you have previously completed the IOSH Managing Safely training course.

Please note that you will need to bring your original certificate as proof of completion. If you don't, then you may unfortunately be unable to join and be assessed. We ask that you let us know in advance if there are any difficulties in providing the certification.

When it comes to the IOSH Managing Safely refresher course, St John Ambulance Cymru is the leading training provider in Wales. In the UK, St John Ambulance is one of the voluntary aid societies (VAS) who are recognised by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) as standard setters for first aid training in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981. We don't require external accreditation through an Awarding Organisation.

Managers and supervisors have a responsibility to make sure that employees can work in a safe and healthy environment. That's why the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) designed a Managing Safely course. Greater care of health and safety often results in greater productivity.

Although IOSH certificates do not expire, you are strongly recommended to take an IOSH refresher. Skills and knowledge fade over time. Don't take the risk of not being confident of what to do in a health and safety situation involving employees. IOSH recommend that you should take a Managing Safely refresher course no later than 3 years after completing your original training.

If you are an employee in any industry, then you will want to take our IOSH Working Safely course. Employees will be able to identify hazards and risks and understand how personal H&S choices can make a collective difference.

We offer IOSH Managing Safely Refresher courses across Wales. Use our course finder below to find a training venue near you. Alternatively if six or more of your staff want to take the IOSH managing safely refresher training then we can also come to your place of business and provide the training
