Donate today to support our lifesaving training

Would you know what to do if someone close to you went into cardiac arrest outside of hospital?

If not, then you are not alone. Only 30-40% of people who suffer a cardiac arrest will receive CPR from someone in the community.

Luckily, when Peter (pictured above) from Caerphilly suffered a cardiac arrest, a near-by police officer helped to save his life thanks to their lifesaving training in the use of a defibrillator.

In Peter’s case, using a defibrillator was the difference between a life lost and a life saved.

At St John Ambulance Cymru, we need your support to train more people in how to use a defibrillator, as well as other vital first aid skills, in communities across Wales.

Donate today and your gift will support our mission to save the lives of people like Peter.
