Run the Virgin Money London Marathon for St John Ambulance Cymru

Want a free place for this year’s Virgin Money London Marathon, taking place on 3rd October 2021? We’ll be giving them to our super supporters who wants to take on the challenge, whilst raising money for St John Ambulance Cymru.  It might be free but we do ask our participants for this event to pledge to raise a minimum of £2000 in sponsorship. After registering on the Virgin Money London Marathon platform, you will get the full support of our fundraising team and will also be given a St John Ambulance Cymru branded running vest which we would like you to wear during the event. If you want to get your hands on one of our places and be among the 36,000 runners crossing the finish line in October, please register your interest by emailing fundraising@sjacymru.org.uk detailing why you'd like to run the marathon for St John Ambulance Cymru, how much you would aim to raise, and some examples of how you'd go about fundraising to reach your target. The place will be awarded following a review of the applications. Applications close on Sunday 6th June. Our fundraising team will be there to support you the whole way with fundraising tips, advice, and materials.
