St John Cymru's centenary celebrations are set to continue in style with the announcement of its ‘Audience with Warren Gatland’ event – where Wales’ Head Coach will be quizzed by the multi award-winning journalist Carolyn Hitt.

Famed not only for her talent, Hitt was the first woman to win Welsh Sports Hall of Fame Journalist of the Year and Welsh Sports Journalist of the Year going on to win the award for the whole of the UK – twice, Hitt is also known for her in-depth knowledge of rugby and has written two books on the game.

Not only this, Hitt has made more than 50 programmes on the game including; Sir Gareth Edwards at 70 and more recently BBC One documentary The Rugby Codebreakers, Hitt’s incredible experience makes her perfectly placed to interview Welsh Rugby legend, Warren Gatland for the evening.

“We’re really excited to have Warren Gatland on board for our centenary and that Carolyn is going to be a part of this event.

Her knowledge and experience of rugby is second-to-none and we can’t wait to watch her bring this evening to life and get the most out of Warren during the interview and our audience Q&A session.”
