Directions

How To Find Us: Exit M4 Junction 36. Follow A4061 towards Bridgend / Pen-y-bont. After the 4th roundabout slight left onto Tremains Rd / B4181. At the traffic lights turn left onto Minerva St, we are on the right, opposite the school.

Public Transport: Approx 6 min walk from Bridgend train station and 9 min walk from the bus station. Parking: We have some parking on-site for the duration of the course. We would ask that students consider the environment and car-share where possible.

Food and Lunch: There is tea, coffee and water available for free on-site. Breakfast and lunch are typically not provided, so we recommend you bring a packed lunch and any snacks you would like to eat during breaks. There are also food vans and supermarlets within ten minutes walk should you prefer to buy your food fresh on the day.

Why choose St John Ambulance Cymru as your training provider?

St John Ambulance Cymru is one of the UK's voluntary aid societies (VAS). The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) looks to us for guidance on first aid treatment and training nationwide, and we set the standard that the HSE follows.

We are also a part of the First Aid Quality Partnership (FAQP). Observed by the HSE, we publish the quality assurance standards for all training providers to follow. This means that any accredited first aid training provider has to meet our standards in order to teach courses and award certificates.

Why settle for any other training when you can instead get training from the standard-setters in Wales. We have training centres across Wales, so if you're wondering if there are St John Ambulance Cymru courses near me, then the answer is yes! Discover our other locations. We also offer some courses virtually.
