Sun Safety Tips

We all love a bit of fun in the summer sun, but enjoying ourselves safely is really important. That's why this summer, we want to share with you our top sun safety tips

Our top sun safety tips

Remember your sunscreen – Apply sunscreen with a minimum SPF 30 and 4 star broad spectrum sun cream every two hours. No sunscreen can provide 100% protection, so it’s important to use sunscreen with shade and loose, light clothing.

Stay hydrated – Drink plenty of water to prevent dehydration when out and about.

Avoid the sun at its strongest – The sun is its strongest between 11am and 3pm, so try to limit the time you spend outside during this time. Remember to take a break and find shade under trees, umbrellas or go indoors.

And last, but not least, wear a hat and sunglasses – It’s important to wear sunglasses to protect your eyes and a wide-brimmed hat to protect your skin from UV rays. So why not order your own Raise Your Buckets' bucket hat as mentioned above.
